This event is being held as the exclusive Main event at our 5 day Spectacular Australia's Greatest Horsewoman 17th - 21st April 2024. Australia's Greatest Horsewoman will have other showcase events such as The Cowgirl Up Challenge, Ladies Open Obstacle Challenge, Ladies Open Reining, Ladies Open Cutting, Ladies Cow Horse Open. Horsewoman's Touch Trainers Challenge, Event Clinics, Special Presentations and much more.
Australia's Greatest Horsewoman will be held over 4 days - Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April 2024
The Australia's Greatest Horsewoman event will consist of 3 Preliminary rounds being Reining(Thur), Cutting(Friday), Obstacle Challenge (Saturday) with a Top 10 Clean Slate Final Working Cow Horse & Ladies Fencework Finale and the Horsewoman's touch Colt Start will be all held on Sunday 21st April.

New in 2024 Rookie Class, The AGHW Rookie Class consists of the same 4 disciplines as Australia’s Greatest Horsewoman (Reining, Cutting, Obstacles & Fencework). The Rookie Class is a cumulative total score of all four disciplines with no clean slate final.
A Rookie Class participant is an individual who has not yet entered the Australia’s Greatest Horsewoman event. Furthermore, they must not have accumulated lifetime earnings or winnings exceeding $500 in any discipline.
The regulations and event protocols outlined in the Australian Cowgirl guidelines & rules are applicable to the Rookie Class.
Rookie Class offers Buckles, Ribbons and Prizes ( No Prize Money added to this class)

This premier event is one to challenge yourself and your horse, being requried to train in the 4 diciplines in the lead up to the big event.
We will also be holding a waitlist, if for some reason one of the chosen competitors cannot participate, we will call on the next person on our waitlist. You will be advised if you are on our waitlist.
The Prize pool is currently$25,000 in Cash and Prizes and growing. 1st Place Winner receives A Trophy Saddle, Buckle and Cash (TBA) .There will also be ribbons & buckles for all Go Round Winners, and a perpetual Trophy for the Winner of Australia's Greatest Horsewoman.
